Walton Lakes and The Legacy at Walton Lakes is a 430-unit apartment community on 85+ acres in South Fulton County. Walton Lakes offers market-rent apartments for all ages. The Legacy at Walton Lakes offers age-restricted apartments, a portion of which are tax-credit.

Josh Winter worked with Walton Communities to develop an amenity-rich master plan built around a central parkway. Comprehensive landscape plans included streetscape design and detailing for a universally-accessible playground, controlled access swimming pool, a bocce court and an ADA vegetable garden. Landscape design took advantage of elevation and views. Services included landscape plans for all exterior spaces, procurement of site furnishings and plant materials, and construction supervision.

Josh was able to save 8+ acres of old growth forest and is working with local municipalities to develop to a trail system connecting points of interest inside and outside Walton Lakes.
